Fortunes!

"You will be advanced socially, without any special effort." Said my fortune cookie at lunch on Friday 6-16-2006. (we had chinese for lunch at work on friday). Anyways, you might be wondering why I am babbling about cookies and fortunes. Well, Friday I went to a concert of one of my favorite local bands, Mt Olive. I must say dancing with STB and Jon is always a blast (especially in a drunken stupor) =)
Anyway, later on, my husband was off with his 2 buddies. So I wondered up in front of the stage. (Dancing by myself at this point!!!) I feel a tap on my shoulder. It turns out, it was my neighbor, whom I did not really know. Just an occassional "hi". Anyways, they seem cool and good potential for "backyard parties" as she put it. We drank and danced and took a few pictures with the lead singer after the concert. It was a fun and interesting evening.
Ok back to my cookie, we each took turns reading our cookie fortunes at lunch. I read mine and I kind of giggled. But then the whole events of the night, kind of got me thinking about it. Ironic!
