The Room!!!

The shelves are not up yet but they will be this weekend! This was soooo much work but well worth it! And yes he did sleep all night long in his bed!

Almost done!!!

So yes... 5 colors of paint for my son's room!! This was quite a pain in the ass, however the results are well worth it. Friday... I painted.... until 10pm, when I said let's go out for a drink... B looked at me like I was nuts... not like he was helping me with the room.. Anyway we headed out to J's.... Who do I see.... STB... =) We did a few live in person shots (not the lame dial-a-shots) =) ... I'm sure he doesn't remember talking to us that much. (he was pretty lit by the time we got there).... It was fun, I had a good buzz going by the time we left....I needed it.... Sat continued to paint.... WOW!!! Sunday did some touch up work, yes more painting.... Ok by now many of you are going what the fuck did she do in this kid's room??? Well, pics will follow on the next post... but I painted one wall red, one yellow and one green... the fourth wall I did a checkerd flag! Monday....put in new carpet... dark grey and put up the race car bed.... I still need to sand and stain the shelves my brother made for me (he didnt charge me though.. =) ) but oh my god does this room look awesome!!! I have to say I am very proud of myself!!! I busted my ass this weekend! Now my lil mann is fast asleep in his big boy racing bed!!! He looks soooooo cute in it! Speaking of sleep....think mama's going to go there too!!! Sweet dreamz!!!!

Let's just say...It was Great!!!

So finally after 5 months... B and I actually get to go out and act like adults... No diapers, wipes, carseat etc.... Nick stayed by his grandma's... B and I went out to dinner with some friends and had a great time... Even though I had to work the next morning, the hangover was well worth it... Didn't get home until 230am.... I was tired as hell but once again it was well worth it!!! Although, I have to say it was quite entertaining when I woke up and screamed "WHY THE FUCK IS MY ALARM CLOCK GOING OFF SOOOO DAYUM EARLY!!!!" B repies, "Because you have to fucking go to work...." Oh yea, that's right... DAYUMMMMMMMM IT!!! Now work on sunday was ruff.. Mother's day and all!!! It sucked!! Hopefully many of you had a much better day then I...
Two more days.....then I'm on VACATION until after Memorial Day!!! YAAAAAAAY!!!! Not going anywhere special... I'm redoing my son's room... We are moving into his "big boy bed" a very slick looking stock car bed. Cars Cars and more Nascar!!!!! I bought my 5 gallons of paint today!! YES 5, colors that is!!!

Ready for Summer!!

A few nights ago... B and I had a fire in our backyard fire pit.... sssssshhhh... Don't tell on me I know we are not supposed until after memorial day but oh well.... Mann there is just something about the smell of a fire that is just the greatest... For me it brings back memories of camping... I have been camping since I was born... I love it... Each summer we go on multiple trips throughout WI and upper MI... Some are just us, others include many family and friends... It's just a great way to kick back, enjoy a drink or six and reunite with the family. I don't know about many of you but our lives are soooo crazy. Many days I don't know if I'm coming or going sleeping or not.. Mannn just writing this makes me want to go away and set up camp somewhere. I could go on and on and tell some great stories of camping, however, WHAT HAPPENS AT BONG STAYS AT BONG!!! The ole campers oath... =)
